WHEEL 2
when i was running for co i was told that one of the problems that i would be facing would be singsoc's musical drawing from the same talent pool as msa.i was a bit worried, but not really. because what matters in a performance is the quality of the actors not the quantitiy. so even if i was left with only a handful of people as long as they were to be well trained and have some enthusiasm all is not lost.
but now- we've gots bigger fish to fry
with an overflow of msian students this year, searching for talent has become th least of my worries. instead imperial sheffield manchester and leeds are competing with us for more or less the same pool of audience. good luck to marketing!
at least i could do something about the whole lack of talent thing. but i just dont have enough space in my life to worry about people to fill up the seats. all i can do is to do my best during rehearsals and tell people -please come! (and try not to appear too desperate at the same time). Do not like this feeling of helplessness. i refuse to force my friends to come (unless i am really sure that they would definitely have an awesome time) because i'd rather know that our audience came simply because they want to watch us perform and not under some friendship obligation.
My boots that look like the ones on the Balmain runway have arrived. i just need the balmain jacket to go with it and the stupid snow to go away so i dont have to worry about dressing sensibly and wear my new things. thinking of just buying a regular military jacket from like hnm and customising it to look more balmain-y.
we will be shooting the trailer for the play next week! quite excited as we will be using the green screen :)
