Pretty Teacups!

Spring is here! (Like Finally!) and what better time for lovely afternoon tea in the sunshine and under the cherry blossoms. From online store Wysteria Lane! They are giving readers of Domestic Sluttery £10 off so I'm planning to get two as they're £9.99 each. Am now in search of the perfect tea pot to go with it :) Tea in pretty tea cups in the spring.....while I'm slogging through a year's worth of lecture notes. Hopefully these will make things less depressing.

Am also thinking of getting Alessi heart-shaped spoons. Super cute with the teacups! But i keep chanting my mantra - iamastudentanddonotneedanyofthesethings iamastudentanddonotneedanyofthesethings iamastudentanddonotneedanyofthesethings iamastudentanddonotneedanyofthesethings

Just found a range of Kylie Home bed linen called Malay. Check it out!

http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/homeware/bedlinenaccessories/47/3?extra=sch&n=homeware

nothing Malay about it though. makes you wonder who came up with the name.

Was on the tube the other day and I saw a poster for the movie 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'. Ok i know i'm being super judgmental and maybe I'll be punished by really liking the movie if I ever catch it but it is such a silly title which says a lot and yet says nothing about the movie. If movies were titled along the same lines we would have 'The man with the bat -suit'. I don't suppose Dragon Girl would make a more appealing title. Must be hard thinking of titles for superhero movies.

Aisyah kindly brought us to see Efterklang at the O2 empire on wednesday. I think we were very lucky that the band managed to fly in at all. Had a lovely time. the band was very inspiring especially the drummer! Who was sometimes the trumpeter and sometimes a vocalist. Super multitasking! I really enjoyed the atmosphere when they all sang together. Such energy!

Going to the Enchanted Palace exhibit tomorrow!
Kensington Palace + Princesses+Vivienne Westwood= EPIC AWESOMENESS

Cannot wait!  i hope they allow cameras :S

New born baby!

I can’t believe I’m now an uncle! It seems so surreal to be on that level now. However, at least I got a good experience to shoot a film about babies!! Lol! Most probably I’m going to play lego with the boy when he’s much smarter not to swallow it. I guess time is going to progress very fast and since I’m in uk, everytime I’m going to see him, there’ll be much development or growing up? It’ll be my big brother (Abang) and sister-in-law (kak Nana) first born and I’m sure they are having a very memorable experiences with the baby. Looking forward to see them as parents!

I only eat red skittles!

only because they're regular skittles and not skittles sour. and the skittles sour here just are not sour.....

second lego house: post office complete with plexiglass door, mailbox that opens and closes and yes that is a little envelope lego tile. Threw in the drumstick selling man just for kicks. You've got a choice of ketchup or mustard!

Strawberry fundae! (nutella and whipped cream) DO try this at home :)

Am very grateful for two little babies who have popped out this spring. Love is in the air!
It is also the perfect season to watch PONYO! another studio ghibli masterpiece!with ultra loveable characters and super interesting setting plot, that will tug at your heart strings and leave you smiling +speechless. They should have gotten studio ghibli people to design the blue people in avatar! Then maybe they would have been....easier on the eyes.  We were lucky enough to catch it at the prince Charles cinema last Tuesday. The cinema was cool! It had little led lights in the ceiling that looked liked a starry sky instead of lights, nurul and i were trying to figure out if it was according to actual star positions but the northern cross was just too faraway from the big dipper to make any sense................

Have just discovered rachel riley's stuff. wish i had a gazillion pounds to buy all those dresses and tops and baby pj's for the babies!
Do you know if they make mary jane socks for adults?

3) REPORT
I've directed a short film, from last Monday to Wednesday, which seems so long. This is because of the amount of mistakes I've made managing about 13 crews, 8 actors, 17 extras! Including Mr and Mrs McWilliam, my special guest of the evening! =D
Well can't go into detail about this just yet because the producer haven give any green light to talk about the film. Well will keep ya update!

Well Cya later Aligator! Actually a friend from Brunei, who is now in Warwick composed a song name See Ya Later Aligator. The music is really good. I like! Keep doing what you love people!

How to Train Your Dragon Three Dee!

Is an awesome movie that you have to go watch! Plot is quite cliche in a trying to be uncliche kind of way but the characters are so lovable that it doesn't really matter.
Lunch at The Orangery was delicious with excellent company. It was nice to be amongst family again. I had the duck confit and fruit scone for dessert - would definitely recommend it. The duck was tender and aromatic and the fluffy fruit some + clotted cream = Gastronomic orgasm!
Some advice: Make a reservation before going to The Orangery - there was a long queue when I arrived (at 1.00 p.m.) and there was a long queue when I left (at 5.00 p.m.)
Check the weather before going in case the weather man decides to show London what tropical rain is like and you do not want to be wearing mega high heels and have no umbrella should he decide to do so
Make sure you've got the right Orangery on GPS (its the one near the round pond) so you do not go traipsing halfway through hyde park in mega high heels before realsing that it's the wrong one.

The result of ignoring all of the above could leave you hungry, cold, wet, and with leg cramps. Not exactly the ideal way to spend the weekend.

Took a picture of some girls having tea. Reminds me of our less glam version of masak-masak in the park when we were kids.

Also let me introduce you to

The most luscious grapes you can get in - a supermarket. Seasonal fruit at their best! Jamie Oliver would be so proud. So if you are near a Waitrose and are willing to splurge a little on food- grab a pack!

Yesterday Wheel 1 got a box of lego from Hamley's (something about blocking his actors and figuring out the frames of each shot). It came with a booklet of instructions and out of curiosity I started building some houses. I find it very  therapeutic and I feel that I never fully appreciated lego as a child. I think the garish colour schemes just didn't appeal to me. Anyway, this is my first lego house:

Model Name: Mai First Lego Haus
Features: Flower on roof and green and white striped awning!

Some stuff I got today

Found this nice old school looking milk cleanser from Boots! Got it as a second cleanser for double cleansing.

Shoulder details of new spring coat!

Off to build another lego thing! Will show you guys tomorrow maybe. Or next week.

This weekend: Roman and Georgian adventure in Bath!

Happy Easter Everyone.
